I call this piece "Adam's Eyes." I chose this picture of Adam to re-create, because it focuses on Adam's baby-blues, reminiscent of Paul Newman's eyes. I'm sure Adam captivated a lot of girls with those mesmerizing eyes. Adam was the victim of a senseless and bizarre act of violence about a year ago, which is still almost inconceivable to comprehend. He was also a close friend of mine and one of my most valued employees. His eyes weren't just charismatic though. They were windows to an amazing soul, who cherished life, lived to the fullest, idolized his family, demonstrated an incredible work ethic, took great pride in serving others--and I could go on and on. In short, Adam was a a rare and special human being, who continues to be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know him. Rest in peace, my friend.
